Polène's taupe occupies a cool, grey-adjacent neutral — closer to stone or mushroom than to beige or camel. It is one of the brand's most consistent colorways and pairs naturally with the understated design language of the collection. The tone looks equally good with warm and cool wardrobe palettes.

On smooth calfskin, taupe has a slightly chalky quality in daylight that shifts to a warmer stone in lower light. On pebbled calfskin, the grain deepens the tone slightly, giving it more depth. Both finishes are excellent choices.
